Ask Junyr: the AI business assistant that answers from your real data
Ask Junyr is the sidebar assistant in the Junyr Suite that answers questions in plain English from your real data — emails, quotes, invoices, projects, contacts and more — then fact-checks itself and cites every source.
Ask Junyr: the AI business assistant that answers from your real data
In short — Ask Junyr is the sidebar assistant inside the Junyr Suite that answers business questions in plain English — "what did this client say last week?", "which invoices are still unpaid?" — by reading your own emails, quotes, invoices, projects, contacts, prospects, calendar, and documents, grounding the answer in those records, then fact-checking itself before showing you the result. It only speaks from your real data, and tells you when it does not know.
Most "AI assistants" are a chat box bolted onto a generic model. They sound confident and invent the details. Ask Junyr is the opposite: it is wired directly into the business data you already have inside the Junyr Suite — the sovereign AI operating system for your company — and every sentence it produces is traced back to a real record you can click. It went operational on 2026-06-09 and lives in the app sidebar, one click away from wherever you are working.
How Ask Junyr works: decide, ground, review
Ask Junyr is not a single prompt. It is a small pipeline designed so the answer is grounded in your data and checked before you read it.
- Decide which sources to read. When you ask a question, a first tool-decision step picks which of your data sources are relevant — there is no point reading invoices to answer a calendar question. The available sources are your emails (via thread summaries), quotes, invoices, projects (affaires), contacts, prospects, calendar, and documents. If the question is broad, it simply reads across all of them.
- Ground a streamed answer. Ask Junyr pulls the relevant records and writes the answer from them, streaming the text to you as it goes so you are not staring at a spinner.
- Review and correct live. A second, factual reviewer pass reads the drafted answer back against the same records and corrects anything that drifted — in front of you, as the answer settles.
That decide → ground → review loop is what separates a useful assistant from a plausible-sounding guess.
| Step | What happens | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Source decision | An LLM call picks emails / quotes / invoices / projects / contacts / prospects / calendar / documents | The assistant reads the right data, not everything |
| Grounded answer | The answer is written from the retrieved records and streamed live | You see progress and the answer rests on real records |
| Factual review | A reviewer pass corrects the draft against the same data | Catches drift before you act on the answer |
Grounded, not guessed: the anti-hallucination promise
The whole point of Ask Junyr is that it speaks only from your real business data. It does not pad answers with generic advice or invented figures. If the records do not contain what you asked for, it tells you it does not have that — rather than making something up.
Every answer also carries clickable cited-entity chips: the contacts, companies, projects, quotes, invoices, and documents the answer is based on, each with a concrete deep-link and dates. Ask "what is the status of the Dupont project?" and the answer comes back with a chip you can click straight through to that project, plus the relevant dates — so you are never taking the assistant's word for it. The answer is auditable by design.
It respects your confidentiality tier and your AI layers
Ask Junyr is routed through the same controls as the rest of the Junyr Suite, so the assistant inherits your company's sovereignty settings instead of shipping your data somewhere generic.
- It runs through your company's configured AI layers, so the model handling your question is the one you chose.
- It respects the confidentiality tier of the data. Junyr offers three tiers — Simple, Sécurisée, and Totale. On a Totale account the assistant will not read content at all; on a Sécurisée account the data it works with is sanitized. That is the same sovereignty model that lets you keep AI on European hosting, an On-Prem deployment, or even your own bring-your-own local LLM so the data stays on your hardware.
In other words, asking a question never quietly downgrades your privacy posture. The assistant is bound by the same tier rules as every other AI feature in the suite. You can read more about how the tiers work in our explainer on Junyr's three confidentiality levels.
A concrete example for a small business
Imagine it is Monday morning and a client calls about a quote you sent a while back. Instead of digging through your inbox, your ERP, and a folder of PDFs, you open Ask Junyr in the sidebar and type:
Where do we stand with Atelier Dupont — last exchange, open quote, any overdue invoice?
Ask Junyr decides it needs your emails, quotes, and invoices for that client. It pulls the latest thread summary, the open quote, and the invoice status, then streams back a short answer like "Last email 11 June about delivery timing; quote QT-204 (€4,200) still pending; one invoice 8 days overdue." — each entity rendered as a chip you can click to jump straight to the record, with dates attached. The reviewer pass has already corrected the draft against those same records before you read it.
What used to be a five-minute hunt across three tools becomes one question in plain English, answered from a single connected workspace.
Ask Junyr vs. the assistant's memory
Ask Junyr is the part of the Junyr Suite you actively query — you ask, it reads your data and answers. That is distinct from the persistent memory and context that Junyr Agents carry into the work they do for you, like drafting replies or handling tasks. The two are complementary: memory is what makes an agent's actions coherent over time, while Ask Junyr is the on-demand lens you point at your own data when you have a question right now. If you want the deeper picture of how Junyr remembers, read Agent Memory & Context.
You can try Ask Junyr — alongside the inbox-first ERP, Morning Briefing, Calendar, and the rest of the suite — by starting from the Junyr Suite home. Pricing is straightforward and all-included; see the pricing page for the details.
FAQ
What is Ask Junyr?
Ask Junyr is the sidebar AI assistant inside the Junyr Suite that answers business questions in natural language by reading your own emails, quotes, invoices, projects, contacts, prospects, calendar, and documents — then grounding and fact-checking the answer before showing it to you. It has been operational since 2026-06-09.
Does Ask Junyr make things up?
No — it is built specifically to avoid that. Ask Junyr answers only from your real business records, runs a factual reviewer pass that corrects the draft live, and explicitly tells you when it does not have the information rather than inventing it.
Can I trust where the answer comes from?
Yes. Every answer carries clickable cited-entity chips — the contacts, companies, projects, quotes, invoices, and documents it relied on — each with a concrete deep-link and dates, so you can jump straight to the source record and verify it yourself.
Is my data safe when I use Ask Junyr?
Ask Junyr is routed through your company's configured AI layers and respects your confidentiality tier (Simple, Sécurisée, or Totale): a Totale account refuses content reads and a Sécurisée account works only with sanitized data. Combined with European hosting, an On-Prem option, and bring-your-own local LLM, your data stays under your control.
