The problem: documents scattered everywhere
In most stacks, a document's life is fragmented. The PDF a client emailed lives in your inbox. The quote you sent lives in your ERP. The receipt you scanned lives in an expense tool. The contract lives in a drive. Nothing connects them, and six months later nobody can answer a simple question: "show me everything we have for this client."
The information exists. It is just spread across five tools that do not talk to each other.
One canonical model
Junyr collapses all of that into a single document model. Whatever the source — an inbound attachment, an ERP quote or invoice, a supplier invoice, a delivery note, an uploaded file — it becomes one document record. No more guessing which tool a file is in.
Behind the scenes the original is preserved, but it is also turned into something a machine (and a busy human) can actually use.
Converted and summarized
Every document is converted to clean Markdown and structured data, and gets a short AI summary. A scanned invoice stops being an opaque image: it becomes text you can read, copy, and search. You see the gist of a 12-page contract in two lines before you open it.
Linked to the people and projects that matter
This is the part that changes day-to-day work. Every document is automatically attached to the company, project, contact, and now the meeting (calendar event) it relates to. Junyr resolves who the document is about and files it under them — no manual tagging.
The result is a Documents panel on every client, project, contact, and meeting: "all documents for this entity," in one click. A new /dashboard/documents hub gives you the global view; the same panel appears inside the CRM, the Project 360 view, and the meeting modal.
Find anything — by name or by meaning
Two kinds of search work inside the content, not just on filenames:
- Full-text search finds the exact words — a reference number, an amount, a clause.
- Semantic search finds documents by meaning, so "the renewal we discussed in spring" surfaces the right contract even if it never uses those words.
Both run across attachments, quotes, invoices, and receipts alike, and return a highlighted snippet so you see the match in context.
Sovereign and privacy-tiered
The Documents Hub respects the same per-company confidentiality tier as the rest of Junyr. A company set to the Totale tier keeps its documents out of any AI processing entirely — no conversion summary, no semantic index. Everything is hosted in Europe and GDPR-aligned, and one company can never see, search, or attach another's documents.
